Sesame Chicken Stir-Fry with Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
Instructions
- 1
1. Marinate the chicken.
Cut the breasts into small, even strips. Place in a bowl, add the soy sauce and a little pepper, and mix well. Let marinate 15–30 minutes in the fridge so the chicken absorbs the flavor.

2. Make the sauce.
In a small bowl, mix the water, lemon juice, soy sauce, and a few drops of sweetener. Add the cornstarch and mix well until fully dissolved. Set aside.

3. Stir-fry the chicken.
Heat a nonstick skillet over high heat. Once very hot, add the chicken directly, without oil. Spread it in a single layer and let it cook about 2 minutes before stirring, so it can brown. Keep stir-frying 5–7 minutes, until fully cooked. If the chicken starts to stick, add one or two tablespoons of water and keep cooking.

4. Add the sauce.
Stir the lemon-cornstarch mixture again before adding it to the skillet, since the cornstarch tends to settle. Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly and coats the strips.

5. Finish with sesame.
Remove from heat and sprinkle the toasted sesame over the chicken right before serving.
